Book for the 2010 Annual Conference
'Theology and the Arts', 12-14 April 2010, University of Manchester
Issues we shall be exploring will include: What is the relationship between different art forms and other modes of theological interpretation? Is art true, or subjective, or both? What are the limitations of artistic representation? How may art be employed in teaching, whether in church or academy? What are the places of art in prayer and liturgy?
THE BOOKINGS DEADLINE IS 23 MARCH. Be sure to book by then!

NOTE ON ACCOMMODATION. All available hall accommodation for Monday and Tuesday nights has now been filled. Additional accommodation is available in the Ibis Hotel, Charles Street, located adjacent to the conference centre. To book bed and breakfast at the preferential rate of £56 per night, phone the University of Manchester’s ConferCare service on 0161 306 4068. If you require cheaper accommodation, check out Hatters, which offers single rooms from £27.50 and even cheaper deals for shared rooms and is located a short walk away. If arranging off-site accommodation, remember that you still need to book registration and Option C meals on the SST website.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON OFFICE RELOCATION. Owing to a relocation, there will be an unavoidable delay in processing contact requests, acknowledging bookings and responding to other enquiries made later than about 16 MARCH. It is hoped that these will be processed by 29 March. The bookings deadline will be extended to allow bookings started in this period to be completed. Meanwhile, please take your Sagepay SUCCESS notification as confirmation that your booking has been successful.
